Estrella MLP Custom - By Fopsama

my friend justin, aka fop-sama, made me a beautiful custom of estrella for christmas 2004! she's the first custom he's ever made, and she came out really nicely. he took a bunch of pictures as he made it, which are on this page for your viewing. you can learn more about estrella here.

this was the concept design for the custom, even though i think he'd already started painting her body by this point.

she's made from a generation 3 savannah sage. here she is after her initial makeover... from hot pink to white!

she's gone to pieces!

starting on the eyes. all the better to see you with...

her symbol is correct, even though i didn't have a ref pic for it anywhere. ;D the little shooting star is my trademark (i always put it after my signature on art) as well as estrella's symbol in her pony form.

a close-up of her symbol. a bit grainy/fuzzy, but a close-up nonetheless.

finally. her lovely tail! yes, the symbol is on there, but the glare was really strong.

her eyes are done; now she needs her horn, which is a gold, cone-shaped bead painted pink!

isn't her hair to die for?!

it's saran. only the best for my girl, mua ha ha.

look how long and shiny it is! it's almost the exact perfect color.

oy! hello!

her wings aren't pink in the custom, but they're a gorgeous iridescent white! (they look blue here, though)

wah-lah! she's finished!

isn't she pretty? the scarf is to hide her neckline (oh ho ho) but it looks so cute and seasonal!

she can fly.

lovely color. absolutely lovely, dahling.

she even has a box front label printed out with her name on it!

coincidentally, savannah sage's brush is pink, keeping estrella's color scheme!
